Tanzania warned of farmer impacts from Agrisol Energy land deal
In Tanzania, the government told the Parliament that it had been warned against allocating 320,000 hectares to American firm Agrisol Energy who is seeking to set up large-scale farming including for food and jatropha production as the allocation would displace 162,000 farmers.
