StoneX raises Brazil’s 2025/26 second-crop corn production forecast
In China, SunSirs reported that StoneX stated that Brazil’s second-crop corn production for the 2025/26 season is projected to reach 107.5 million tons.
The consultancy noted that this new production figure represents a 1.4% increase from the June forecast.
StoneX’s upward revision of Brazil’s 2025/26 second-crop corn production forecast to 107.5 million tons points to a looser global corn supply outlook; this is expected to lower the landed cost of imported corn and exert moderate downward pressure on domestic corn spot prices, according to the report.
