Soli3 lands $39M from Banrisul for Brazilian soybean biodiesel project

In Brazil, Soli3 formed by Cotrijal Agricultural and Industrial Cooperative, Cotripal Agricultural Cooperative and Cotrisal, signed a partnership with Banrisul for the financing of R$ 200 million in the industrial complex for soybean processing and biodiesel production that is being built in Cruz Alta/RS. The formalization took place on the morning of Tuesday, 1st, during the program of Expointer 2026, in Esteio/RS, with the presence of representatives of the three cooperatives and the financial institution. The project will be responsible for the production of biodiesel, gum oil, soybean meal and pelletized bark, with an expected investment of approximately R$ 1.25 billion.

Banrisul is the first financial institution to provide resources for the initiative. The financing will be allocated to the implementation of the storage structure of the project, covering infrastructure works, construction of warehouses and installation of the operational structures necessary for the receipt, storage and shipment of grain.
