Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers teams with UNICA and USGC to promote ethanol

In India, during this week’s Auto Expo, the Knowledge and News Networked reported that the Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM) launched a center of excellence together with the Brazilian sugarcane industry union UNICA to promote the role of ethanol in transportation decarbonization while Live Mint reported that (SIAM) signed a separate agreement to the same end with the US Grains Council. The partnerships are aimed at helping to speed up the implementation of the 20% ethanol blending mandate set for 2025/26 with E20 already becoming available in April.
