Shougang LanzaTech unit wins EU certification for recycled carbon ethanol
In China, TipRanks reports that Beijing Shougang LanzaTech subsidiary Hebei Shoulang New Energy Technology has received ISCC EU certification for ethanol made from industrial off-gases, clearing the fuel for use in European transport markets.
The company said the certification from SCS Global Services is the first awarded in the global recycled carbon fuel sector.
The certified ethanol can be sold in the European Union as recycled carbon fuel for marine and road transport and used as feedstock for sustainable aviation fuel in the European Union and United Kingdom.
