Schroders Greencoat acquires APF Energy
In the Netherlands, Wij Business Niuews reports Schroders Greencoat has strengthened its position in the Dutch energy transition with the acquisition of biomethane producer APF Energy. The company operates six large-scale production sites across the country. The selling parties are the French SWEN Impact Fund for Transition and APF BV.
Three locations are operational in Anerveen and Biddinghuizen; three new locations are under construction in Baarlo, Axel and Nieuw Wolda. This acquisition marks a strengthening of Schroders’ commitment in the Dutch energy transition and is in line with growing investments in renewable energy infrastructure by larger players.
