Roxol Bioenergy gets the OK to ramp back up after odor problems
In the Philippines, the mayor of La Carlota city where Roxol Bioenergy’s ethanol plant is located has approved the re-opening of the facility following efforts to significantly reduce odors. The cease and desist order was issued on Sept. 9 for 30 days but was lifted early following the company’s efforts to mitigate the problem that caused the odors. Previously, residents of the community has protested about the on-going odor issue that led to the mayor taking action to resolve the problem.
