Raizen exploring ethanol production in the Philippines

In the Philippines, Brazil’s Raizen is exploring setting up ethanol production locally and is investigating possible suppliers and feedstock providers. The company hasn’t yet decided on the production capacity of a would-be distillery. Current domestic production capacity is short by about 500 million liters to meet the existing E10 policy. That fuel is currently imported.
