Qualco Energy switches from selling electricity to Puget Sound Energy to Snohomish County PUD
In Washington State, the HeraldNet reports that Qualco Energy and the Snohomish County Public Utility District have signed a five year agreement. Qualco uses cow manure to produce electricity for 300 homes, and has done so since 2009. The article reports that under agreement, Qualco will initially receive $47.84/MWH, increasing to $67.60/MWH.
