Public comment period opens for Minnesota ethanol expansion

In Minnesota, the state’s Pollution Control Agency’s Environmental Assessment Worksheet on the proposed expansion of the Granite Falls Energy ethanol facility at Granite Falls is available for public comment until Jan. 26. The facility seeks to expand to 70 million gallons per year from its current 49.9 million gallons.
