Proxigas and Assotermica sign MOU to promote green gases in Italy
In Italy, Proxigas and Assotermica have signed in Milan a Memorandum of Understanding with the aim of promoting the widespread use of green gases and contributing to the reduction of the carbon footprint of energy consumption. At the heart of the agreement is the strategic role of renewable gases, considered a fundamental lever to combine environmental sustainability, technical feasibility and economic balance. The use of these energy carriers allows the use of existing distribution networks and integrates into the national building stock, while ensuring a significant reduction in CO2 emissions.
One of the key principles of collaboration is technological neutrality. According to Proxigas and Assothermics, the energy transition cannot be based on a single solution, but must integrate several complementary technologies.
