Persero signs MOU with Pertamina Power Indonesia to reboot biodiesel and ethanol
In Indonesia, Palm Oil Magazine reports state-owned Persero has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Pertamina Power Indonesia to further develop domestic bioenergy production by reactivating a 600,000 metric ton per year biodiesel plant and developing two cassava-based ethanol plants with a combined production of 600,000 liters per day. Feasibility studies and technical assessments are first on the agenda for the new agreement as well as look at ways to share knowledge, technology and facilities.
