Oil marketing companies seeking EoIs from sugar mills for 2.5 billion liters

In India, oil marketing companies are seeking expressions of interest from sugar mills to supply 2.5 billion liters of ethanol at INR44 a liter after having rejected 3.5 billion liters of ethanol at higher prices. The companies are only willing to pay up to 10% above the set price. The announcement also indicates that only offers of molasses-based ethanol will be accepted.
