In New York, popular lifestyle shoe company Soludos has launched a sneaker made entirely of natural or recycled materials. Dubbed Yebo, the upper is made from corn extract while the outsole is produced from recycled rubber and cork.

“We quite literally searched all over the world for the highest quality ingredients,” the company says in a press statement. “Produced in Italy using non-edible corn, Yebo’s upper contains bio-based materials, and recycled water bottles. Yebo’s outsole is comprised of 70% recycled rubber, 20% natural rubber, and 10% cork. To tie it all together, the laces are 100% biodegradable organic cotton.”

Yebo can be ordered online for $149. They are available in white, pink, wine and navy.
