In California, Cannabis Science, Inc. announced it has started to build out its 33,000 greenhouse in Douglas County, Nevada. Cannabis Science focuses on the development of medicines made from cannabis (aka marijuana) for skin cancers, HIV/AIDS and neurological conditions. They are building the huge new greenhouse to meet the expanding market and growing demand for marijuana medicine, especially with all the new states that voted in the recent election to allow medicinal marijuana legally. Cannabis Science is also working on building the Raymond C. Dabney University, named after one of Cannabis Science’s co-founders, on the land near the greenhouse. The university will focus on studying the business, law, agriculture and medicinal science aspects of cannabis.
