In New York, Oscar Award-winning actress Gwyneth Paltrow and 23-time Grand Slam tennis champion Serena Williams invested in Daily Harvest’s Series A financing round. Daily Harvest is a subscription service delivering frozen, single-serving, organic smoothies, soups, overnight oats and chia puddings made with farm-frozen ingredients direct to consumers. Since launching nationwide one year ago, the company has shipped more than 1 million smoothies.
