D’s Naturals lands investments to grow low-sugar, plant-based protein markets

In Colorado, D’s Naturals, a maker of low-sugar, plant-based protein products, received investments from 2x Consumer Products Growth Partners and 301 INC to further expand markets for low-sugar, plant-based protein bars and low-sugar, protein-infused nut butters. Only two years old, D’s has grown to nearly $10 million in revenue with distribution in over 10,000 retail locations nationwide.

“My mission is to create low sugar, plant-based products that fuel an active lifestyle and offer more options to people living with dietary restrictions or choosing to eat more plant-based foods,” said Daniel Katz, founder of D’s Naturals.

The flagship No Cow bar delivers 20 grams of plant-based protein per bar with only 1 gram of sugar. Fluffbutter is brown rice and pea proteins infused into an almond or peanut butter spread with 1 gram or less of sugar per serving. Both products are dairy free, soy free, gluten free, vegan and non-GMO.
