In Brussels, Syensqo has partnered with Allozymes, a Singaporean enzyme engineering start-up, to collaborate on biotechnology solutions for the home and personal care markets. The two companies will leverage Allozymes’ ultra-high throughput microfluidics platform for the engineering of enzymes and microbes.
“By combining Allozymes technological capabilities with Syensqo’s application and market access expertise, we are poised to create groundbreaking solutions that will not only benefit the home and personal care market but also contribute to a more sustainable future,” Thomas Canova, head of Renewable Materials & Biotechnology growth platform at Syensqo, said in a press statement.
The pact shortly follows Syensqo’s acquisition of South Korean ceramides specialist JinYoung Bio.
