In Sweden, Bonesupport’s CEO, Richard Davies, has won the “Best CEO in the Biomaterials Industry” award presented by European CEO Magazine. Davies was Chief Commercial Officer at Hospira which was acquired by Pfizer, before he joined Bonesupport in January 2016. He also has worked with Amgen and Eli Lilly. Bonesupport, which recently raised $37 million in funding, creates injectable bioceramic bone supports which are used to fill in bone holes that may have been caused from surgery, disease, or trauma to the bone. Davies received the award for his past work on innovative healthcare solutions and his impact on the current success of Bonesupport.
