In Australia, accessories brand Bellroy has introduced a line of wallets made from Modern Meadow’s INNOVERA-brand plant-based leather, which is composed of more than 80% biobased carbon and offers double the strength while being lighter than conventional leather. The material was manufactured in partnership with German tannery Heller-Leder GmbH & Co. KG.
Bellroy’s line includes Hide & Seek HI and LO, Note Sleeve, and Slim Sleeve designs. According to vegconomist, in 2025 Bellroy made phone cases, MagSafe wallets, and AirPod covers out of INNOVERA.
