Vivici, The Every Company and Abu Dhabi explore 4M liter precision fermentation facility

In the United Arab Emirates, precision fermentation firms Vivici and The Every Company and the Abu Dhabi Investment Office have partnered to evaluate the potential of scaling production of animal-free dairy and egg proteins.

The public-private partnership will jointly consider a 4 million liter per year facility operating using Vivici and The Every Company process technologies. Vivici leverages fermentation to produce beta-lactoglobulin whey protein without cows.  The Every Co produces chicken-free egg white proteins.

According to Green Queen, the alliance is part of ADIO’s AgriFood Growth and Water Abundance  cluster, which was launched last year to boost food security and combat water scarcity with advanced technologies.
