In California, designer Sudeshna Naik has developed wooden earbuds that protect both the planet and the fidelity of your favorite jams .
Dubbed The PIN, Naik envisioned the earbuds as a “bridge between high-performance audio and eco-luxury,” according to Yanko Design. The PIN uses only Forest Stewardship Council-certified wood, with three options for finishes: bamboo, cherry, or walnut.
The PIN is also 20% lighter than standard plastic earbuds. It also offers AI translation support for over 150 languages with four specialized translation modes. 10mm dynamic drivers and AAC codec support ensures The Pin delivers “crisp, immersive sound.”
And, for every 10 pairs sold, The PIN even plants a tree.
