In California, Starbucks is winding down a compostable cups trial following disappointing results. The cups also required industrial composters, because of a bioplastic coating.
The Cool Down also noted Starbucks CEO, Brian Niccol, has been criticized for using a private jet to commute to the company’s headquarters.
