In New York, wholesaler One World Products has purchased Eco Bio Plastics for $600,000.
Based in Midland, Michigan, Eco Bio Plastics manufactures bioplastics for use in packaging, auto parts, and consumer products like single-use utensils. One World Products intends to expand Eco Bio Plastics’ product range to reusable logistics applications.
The acquired company will be rebranded as Isiah Enterprises and be led by chair and CEO Isiah Thomas. “This is more than a business move. It’s a mission. By acquiring Eco Bio, we’re not only scaling innovation in sustainable materials, we’re making a long-term investment in American manufacturing, quality jobs and, ultimately, generational wealth creation,” Thomas said.
