Fitesa to use Braskem’s biobased PE in Nonwovens

In Pennsylvania, Fitesa, a leader in raw materials for the hygiene, medical, and industrial markets, is using biobased high-density polyethylene produced by Braskem in nonwoven applications.

Optimized for Spunbond processes, the new HDPE grade is made from made from bioethanol  and features enhanced spinning stability and optimal melting and Vicat temperatures.  It is also fFully recyclable with existing polyethylene recycling streams.
