Azelis to distribute sugar beet ingredient for personal care

In Belgium, specialty chemicals distributor Azelis has signed an agreement to distribute AGRANA’s PuraBeet® for the personal care segment in China, Japan, the Philippines, and Thailand.

PuraBeet® is a multifunctional skin care ingredient that is 100% plant-based and naturally derived from sugar beet molasses as crystalline betaine. It enhances skin hydration, reinforces the skin barrier against harmful substances, and helps reduce inflammation caused by chemical compounds in personal care products. Additionally, it improves the sensory experience by enhancing texture and spreadability.
