In Georgia, biobased plastics company Danimer Scientific has named Richard Altice as Interim CEO, effective immediately. Altice, a current board member and former CEO of polylactic acid bioplastic maker NatureWorks, succeeds Stephen Croskrey, who is retiring after over eight years in the role. Croskrey will continue to support the company as a Special Advisor until year-end.

The Board has established an Executive Committee to oversee the search for a permanent CEO, engaging both internal and external candidates with the help of a recognized executive search firm.

Danimer also reported preliminary third-quarter 2024 polyhydroxyalkanoates revenues of $6.7 million, reflecting growth driven by a recent cutlery award in the quick-service restaurant sector. The company anticipates annualized PHA revenues will more than triple by mid-2025.
