The addition of JinYoung Bio’s technology will extend Syensqo’s product portfolio into biomimetic ceramides for skin care and hair care applications, as well as a range of biobased functional ingredients used in skin care and color cosmetic applications. Ceramides are produced through biotechnology via a fermentation process, which aligns with the focus of Syensqo’s Renewable Materials and Biotechnology Growth Platform.
