Aptly called CornWall, the material is produced in collaboration with consulting firm Circular Matters. It is made by heating corn cobs to 150 degrees Celsius using solar power. No fossil fuels are used in the process, and Circular Materials intends to create a recycling program. CornWall can simply be peeled off and plastered onto another wall.
Currently CornWall is available in eight colors but just one texture. Additional textures will be launched in the near future, according to a submission to design boom.
