Dubbed O-SOW, the concept leverages swift decomposition of organic elements and the presence of active E. coli bacteria found in human waste to create TP that rapidly biodegrades when left in natural environments. O-SOW’s seed composition can be adjusted to include seeds that will thrive in the environment a person is hiking through.
“O-SOW intertwines various plant seeds, and with the help of nutrient-rich human waste, the process of natural seeding occurs effortlessly through its usage. The seeds I’ve incorporated include mint, peony, rose, parsley, and cress. However, my goal is to tailor the seed selection to popular trekking regions,” Revivi tells dezeen.
