In the UK, the parent company of popular detangling hairbrush Tangle Teezer has introduced a plant-based version.
Dubbed Plant Brush, the staple haircare product is 85% comprised of castor bean oil-based plastic. The company is also phasing out plastic packaging, and byproduct from manufacturing is used as fertilizer.
According to Who What Wear, the Plant Brush features the same two-tiered teeth design of its cult-favorite predecessor. The longer bristles detangle, while short bristles smooth the cuticle, the publication says. Plant Brush retails for a very reasonable $18.
