Ferragamo becomes the latest watchmaker to feature renewable materials

In Italy, luxury brand Ferragamo has added two watches with renewable materials to its popular F-80 Skeleton collection.

The new watches include a 41-mm case made from a 63% renewable materials and ceramic powder produced from natural minerals. The bands are also 39% biobased thermoplastic polyurethane.

According to Watch Pro, F-80 Skeleton is one of Ferragamo’s most popular. The new watches, which sell for around £1,650 ($2,061), are available in Amaretto to invoke “earthy shades” and navy blue to suggest the ocean, the publication adds.
