In New York, parenting solutions company Bugaboo has unveiled its “most premium all-terrain” stroller, which comes complete with eco-friendly materials. The Bugaboo Fox 5 uses mass-balanced biobased material Akulon®, which is manufactured in the Netherlands by DSM. Use of Akulon reduces the strollers’ CO2 emissions by 20%, according to Bugaboo, which claims to be the first brand in the stroller industry to incorporate the material.

“We are excited to add the Bugaboo Fox 5 to our collection of award-winning products made with mass-balanced bio-based materials,” Sarah Steele, North America Brand Marketing Director, said in a press statement. “This new addition, furthers our sustainability journey, reducing our carbon footprint as much as possible while still producing the highest-quality products for families that are made to last.”

The Bugaboo Fox 5 retails for $1,299.
