In Los Angeles, cannabinoid company MCTC Holdings is launching a hemp-infused coffee based on a patent-bending hemp extract infusion technology.
Dubbed Hemp You Can Feel™ Coffee, the first introduction will be in compostable coffee brewing pods.
“The new product is based on our recently completed R&D efforts that resulted in our dual infusion clean label process that uses only natural ingredients and zero chemical additives,” says Arman Tabatabaei, MCTC Holdings CEO, in a press statement. “Our first introduction will be for single serving coffee pods in a 100% compostable format, including the pod, lid and all packaging.”
MCTC aims to overcome some of the purity and potency problems facing hemp extract. Instead of spraying extracts onto the coffee, MCTC employs a “dual infusion process.”
The pods are % compostable within 120 days of properly-being discarded, the company adds.
