Bearaby’s Tree Napper uses wood pulp from eucalyptus trees to produce a biodegradable and breathable blanket. It also requires 10 times less water to produce than conventional fabrics.
“The Tree Napper is made entirely of trees,” Kathrin Hamm, Bearaby’s founder told Business Insider. “We use the same patented layering technique as our classic Napper collection, where we use nothing else than layer upon layer of organic fabric to create a naturally-weighted yarn that adds soothing weight without any artificial filler materials.”
Bearaby will also plant a tree for every Tree Napper purchased.
