In the United Kingdom, packaging firm Parkside has developed biobased packaging for Wallaroo snacks.
The healthy snacks—available in pineapple, coconut, and mango—are made for kids. Parkside tells Packaging News that its packaging provides “excellent moisture and oxygen barriers to extend shelf life.” The snack packs also biodegrade in just 26 weeks.
“This has been one of our most exciting projects in recent times, working with an amazing start-up company and creating a wonderfully eco-friendly product,” says Paula Birch, Sales Director at Parkside.
