Richard Pulfrey, managing director, told Packaging News, “At Storopack our commitment to innovative sustainable packaging continues and significant resources are invested in maximising environmental practices. The recycled AIRplus air cushions range will be manufactured with a minimum of 70% post-consumer waste. Enhanced technological development at our extrusion plant in Berlin, will also allow us to produce lower micron films thus reducing material consumption at source. But also to encourage reuse and responsible recycling in order to keep packaging active and reduce virgin supply.”
