Phytoene is a colorless carotenoid produced through natural sugars fermentation by Deinococcus geothermalis, an extremophile bacterium.
PHYT-N-RESIST consists of Phytoene concentrated in a refined jojoba oil. The product reduces the signs of aging by reducing oxidative stress and accelerating skin repair.
Deinove is the only company that commercially exploits Deinococcus. The company also says its route is the only available production process to produce pure Phytoene; other methods provide a mix of carotenoids at low concentrations.
