The deal, first announced in July, expands Givaudan’s natural dairy and savory solutions and enhances its position as a leader in naturals, says Givaudan CEO Gilles Andrier.
Financial terms were not disclosed, although Asia Food Journal says Vika’s sales would have added €64 million (USD76 million) to Givaudan’s 2016 sales on a proforma basis. Givaudan is funding the deal from existing resources, the journal adds.
