In Montreal, biobased succinic acid producer BioAmber has named Mario Settino Chief Financial Officer, replacing interim CFO Raymond Land. Settino previously served as president and CFO of Peds Legwear and CFO of Miranda Technologies. Land remains chairman of BioAmber’s board.
The company also added Robert Frost to its board of directors, effective immediately. He fills one of the board seats recently vacated by Jean-Francois Huc and George F.J. Gosbee.
Frost is a partner at Naxos Capital Partners, one of BioAmber’s largest stockholders, and brings “extensive financial experience and deep knowledge of the Company, its business and its industry.” He will hold office until the 2018 annual meeting of stockholders.
