In Finland, Stora Enso, a pulp and paper biomass producer, is building a 5,950 square meter (64,000 square foot) warehouse facility at the Port of Brisbane’s Port West logistics center in Brisbane, Australia. The warehouse will sit on 1.8 hectare (about 4.5 acres) and makes logistical sense for Stora Enso due to its close location to the Port of Brisbane’s terminals and wharves. This new location will make Stora Enso’s wood and timber raw material and product transportation and logistics much easier, quicker, and less expensive. Construction begins soon and is expected to be completed by the end of this year.
