In Ohio, Nordson Corporation, which makes many different products related to dispensing and applying a variety of biomaterials including adhesives, coatings, polymers, and sealants, acquired Vention Medical’s Advanced Technologies. New Hampshire-based Vention manufactures various devices, catheters, and other components for the medical technology market. We covered Nordson’s acquisition of ACE Production Technologies recently, so could this be a sign that Nordson is on a buying spree? While the details of the ACE acquisition wasn’t made public, Vention’s acquisition cost Nordson $705 million, which it paid in all-cash. So far in 2017, Nordson, which operates in over 40 countries, has acquired four companies, so stay tuned to see what’s next for Nordson.
