In California, CytoSport, Inc., a leading sports nutrition company and maker of MUSCLE MILK premium protein products, launched EVOLVE, the company’s first plant-based and vegan protein line. Containing no dairy, soy, gluten or artificial flavors, the line is made with pea protein sourced and manufactured in North America. Compared to other protein options, pea protein can be more sustainable, use fewer resources and require less fertilizer.
Made from ten or eleven non-GMO ingredients, each ready-to-drink shake contains 20 grams of pea protein and 10 grams of fiber and come in four flavors: Classic Chocolate, Ideal Vanilla, Mellow Mocha and Toasted Almond. The shakes are shelf-stable and available in 12-ounce single serve bottles or four packs of 11-ounce Tetra Pak cartons.
To further sustainability goals, CytoSport will donate a portion of EVOLVE sales to the National Park Foundation to support their efforts to preserve the nation’s most beautiful and iconic locations.
