In Israel, DayTwo Ltd. announced a collaboration with Janssen Research & Development, LLC, a unit of Johnson & Johnson, and the Weizmann Institute of Science to focus on microbiome research and innovative human health products. DayTwo and the Weizmann Institute scientists will work with Janssen to evaluate DayTwo’s platform for the effective interception of gestational diabetes mellitus, type 2 diabetes mellitus and metabolic syndrome-associated disorders.

DayTwo’s research shows food that is healthy for one person may not be healthy for another; leading to the conclusion that nutrition that lowers post meal sugar responses must be personally tailored. High blood sugar is linked to increased risk for diseases like obesity, diabetes, and hypertension, as well as to energy dips, excessive hunger and weight gain.

The DayTwo algorithm accurately predicts individual blood sugar responses to different foods based on the person’s unique microbiome and other parameters and provides users with tailored recommendations.
