In Israel, Stockton STK’s hybrid fungicide Regev has been approved for use by the nation’s Ministry of Agriculture.
Regev is a mixture of chemical and botanical ingredients, which Stockton says are known to be compatible. The hybrid “allows farmers to be more efficient, reduces pesticide usage, provides an effective resistance management control, has less of an impact on our environment, and increase the grower’s profitability through better quality and higher yield” says Guy Elitzur, CEO of Stockton STK.
Regev, the first hybrid fungicide to gain approval, is expected to be available for growers in Colombia and other Latin American countries in 2017.
