In Colorado, Agribotix partnered with Switzerland-based senseFly to offer an end-to-end data capture, analysis and reporting platform that is optimized for the early identification and troubleshooting of crop issues. Designed for professional agricultural users, this integrated solution combines senseFly’s eBee SQ fixed-wing drone and onboard multispectral sensor with Agribotix’s FarmLens cloud processing platform.
The drone provides several times more coverage, per flight, than is possible with most quadcopter solutions; and the multispectral sensors capture calibrated data across four highly distinct spectral bands (near-infrared, red-edge, red and green), plus RGB imagery, in a single flight.
FarmLens is a cloud-based data analysis and reporting solution for people using drones in agriculture. A subscription can be bundled with the eBee SQ to perform the full crop scouting workflow in the field: fly large areas efficiently, capture ground truthing images, make notes, and share detailed information about trouble spots with farmers from the field.
