Grow Bioplastics named Sizzle TechStart’s first incubator client

In Tennessee, Grow Bioplastics has become the inaugural agricultural technology client for Sizzle TechStart, a small business incubator. GROW PLASTICS

Formed by the Roane Alliance, Knoxville Entrepreneur Center, Proton Power, and the Roan Chamber, Sizzle TechStart is located 23 miles from downtown Knoxville within the Roane Regional Business & Technology Park. It is also close Oak Ridge National Laboratory.

Grow Plastics develops biodegradable plastic from biomass and forestry waste, namely lignin byproduct from the paper industry. The company is targeting plant containers and mulch films and was founded early last year by Tony Bova and Jeff Beegle.
