In New Jersey, an anonymous donor, maybe looking to give a nice big charity donation before the end of the tax year, or someone who really loves Seton Hall University’s chemistry department, gave them one of the largest donation gifts they’ve ever received – a hefty $8 million. The donation will go towards the school’s chemistry and biochemistry department specifically and will help fund a faculty chair, research, and student scholarships. The donation doesn’t end with the $8 million, however, as the anonymous donor promised future annual donations to fund the chemistry chair position. This helps Seton Hall’s chemistry and biochemistry department get off to a great start for 2017.
