In Nigeria, Bayer Middle Africa Limited announced it is now active in Nigeria and is participating in the International Trade Fair this week in Lagos, Nigeria’s largest city. Bayer said they plan to highlight their work and innovation in the production of biomaterial solutions for various industries including pharmaceutical and health as well as crop science and agriculture. It is using the Lagos event as a platform to expand its network in Nigeria and is looking for more business opportunities there. Bayer told The Guardian that they are offering solutions to increase “productivity in the agro-allied sector.” What exactly those solutions are remain to be seen at the fair.
