Northwest Europe biodiesel prices at five-year low

In Northwest Europe, prices for FAME0 have fallen to their lowest in five years despite the prices for vegetable oil and gasoil being their highest in six months. On Wednesday, non-RED FAME was at $845.75/mt FOB ARA but Platts didn’t report the RED-compliant FAME price. Traders said that the prices were illogically low because they didn’t reach blend replacement costs.
